Businesspatron.ca Launches Version 0.2

I have finished the design and usability review for my sample open source web directory and I uploaded the site's new look late last week. This isn't to say this look is written in stone. It remains a work in progress and I would still like to hear your comments on the look and feel of the site, but for now I'm going return my focus to PHP and MySQL and make some improvements to the inner workings of the site.

There are several things that I want to do:

• Create a more logical directory hierarchy with bread-crumb navigation
• Give users the ability to write reviews and give ratings for businesses in the directory
• Create a back office to allow customization and simple editing and updating of the database

This should keep me busy for quite some time, as this is just a hobby for me and not a serious business enterprise. Still I would be delighted if anyone would like to take a look at my source code and offer suggestions or make improvements. I am here to learn, and I would gladly give credit to anyone who makes improvements to the code or offers useful suggestions.
